Ingrown Toenail Removal
An ingrown toenail can be a very painful condition in which the nail pierces into the skin leading to pain & inflammation. It can be caused by excessive thickness or curvature of the nail, incorrect trimming of the nail, damage to the nail or simply from wearing ill fitting footwear. If left untreated, the toe can become very tender, swollen & extremely painful. It is important to have an ingrown toenail removed as soon as possible to prevent the possibility of infection.
